Michael works as a DC Police Officer in Washington, D.C., in the United States of America. After the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, he chose to join the police force. Terrorists attacked the World Trade Center in New York City by flying planes into it.
According to sources, he has worked for the DC Police Department for the past two decades. He was also present at the Capitol Riots in 2021 when the siege began. The riots were very harsh, and he believed he would have died as a result.
Riots erupted in the United States Capitol in 2021 as a result of President Donald Trump’s victory over Vice President Joe Biden. He was tasked with managing the situation and calming the protestor. However, the situation deteriorated, and the protestors began looting the property and threatening the authorities on the scene.
He was one of them and owing to the pandemonium and out-of-control circumstances, he nearly died of a heart attack. There were about 15,000 protestors who grabbed the officer’s helmet and dragged him down the stairs, his stomach coming into contact with the stairwell.
Metal pipes and poles with an American flag were also used to beat up the officers. Daniel Rodriguez was one of the protestors who put a gun at his head and threatened to kill him, as well as stealing his badge, spare ammunition, and police radio.
Daniel is also accused of slamming a window in the Capitol and stealing an emergency escape hood meant to protect legislators. He is now speaking out about the incident and attempting to bring the perpetrators to justice.
