What Really Happened When David Lee Mabry Was Arrested?

David Lee Mabry was charged with open murder in connection with a fatal shooting on June 18

in Berrien County’s Baroda Township. He was charged in his stepmother Mary Mabry’s death.

Many local media outlets reported that he was arrested shortly after her death on Sunday

and charged on Monday. He was also charged with one count of holding a gun while committing a felony.

According to CBS/Fox affiliate WSBT in South Bend, the now-deceased defendant pulled out a revolver and shot and killed his younger stepmother.
