Adamle spent six years in the National Football League, playing two seasons with three different clubs after graduating from college.

In the 1971 NFL Draft, he was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fifth round (120th overall). Mike later played for the New York Jets and the Chicago Bears.

Mike eventually joined NBC Sports as a studio and sideline reporter.

He spent six years there, hosting pre-game shows and SportsWorld. Fe joined NBC’s primary XFL broadcast team as a sideline reporter alongside KNBC’s Fred Roggin.

He co-hosted the American Gladiators from 1989 to 1996. Mike even covered the Summer Olympics in 2000 and 2004.
