You’re probably wondering if this is about a basketball player for an NBA team. Nah! It’s all about Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, a rapper, singer, and songwriter from the United States. Perhaps you’ve heard one of his songs, “Outside Today.” Yah! That is the correct one. He prefers the moniker “YoungBoy Never Broke Again” for some reason. That’s a long and ridiculous nickname, so let’s just call him NBA Youngboy.

While music was the first thing that brought him fame, he has also become known for his growing list of children from various women. He had already recorded four different children from four different women before the age of twenty. Of course, no one would pretend that anyone in his position would be able to avoid unending drama, especially when it comes to baby mamas.

What is the net worth of NBA Youngboy?

The musician isn’t obscenely wealthy, but he does have a net worth of more than $4.5 million.

NBA Youngboy amassed this sum in a short period of time through his songs and YouTube channels.

NBA Youngboy: Birth, Parents

NBA Youngboy was born Kentrell DeSean Gaulden on October 20, 1999, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

His mother did not do much in terms of raising him. Also, absent from the picture was his father, who was serving a 55-year sentence in prison.

When Youngboy was only eight years old, the law caught up with him. As a result, until his maternal grandmother died of heart failure, the rapper was raised by his maternal grandmother.

So it was clear that he was mostly raised on the streets, and he was exposed to a variety of things, including girls, at a young age.

NBA Youngboy: Relationship Status

He released his first mixtape, “Life Before Fame,” in 2014, and as a result, fame caught up with him. He became a father for the first time two years later, in 2016, when his then-girlfriend, Nisha, gave birth to his first child, Kayden Gaulden (Draco).

Nisha simply vanished from the scene, leaving no trace of herself or any serious drama.

The dramatic events began with his next baby mama, Starr Thigpen, who gave birth to Kamron Gaulden, also known as Baby K, in the same year.

The child, it would later be revealed, was not his, as DNA would later confirm. Nonetheless, he considers Baby K to be his and has stated that he will continue to support both the child and the mother.

NBA Youngboy and Starr were arrested in February 2018 for allegedly assaulting a hotel maid who came to clean the room, which was supposed to be unoccupied at the time.

Niya’s name was added to his list of Baby mamas. They had an affair, which resulted in the birth of his third child, Taylin Gaulden, also known as Tay Tay.

According to rumors, the two did not date because the child was conceived on a nightstand. When she told him she was pregnant, he allegedly accepted it but insisted on a paternity test, which revealed he was indeed the father of the child.

He also dated Jania Jackson for a while before splitting up while she was still pregnant for him. With the birth of his daughter, Kaycey, in early 2019, she became his baby mama. After they split up, the rapper claimed he contracted herpes from Jania, who came out to defend herself on social media, claiming she never gave anyone anything.

NBA Youngboy: Children

NBA Youngboy has four biological children, one of whom is Baby K, who is not the singer’s biological son.

Kayden Gaulden, as previously stated, is his first child, born on July 4, 2016.

Draco is followed by Taylin Gaulden, who was born on March 19, 2017, and Kamiri Gaulden, who was born on July 6, 2017, to Starr Dejanee.

Kaycey Alexander Gaulden, the youngest of the children, was born on February 13, 2019.

NBA Youngboy: Career

This guy’s musical talent is said to have come from his mother, who used to be a rapper. When Youngboy was much younger, he began writing songs and singing.

He dropped out of high school in the ninth grade to focus on music, and by the age of 14, he was producing music.

Following the release of his aforementioned first mixtape in 2014, he also released “Mind of a Menace” mixtapes 1, 2, and 3.

The following year, NBA Youngboy had a falling out with fellow rapper Scotty Cain. In December of that year, he decided to channel his rage through lyrics.

He released a rap beef song, which elicited a response from his rival in the form of another rap beef song.

As expected, this rap battle drew a lot of attention and, interestingly, became NBA’s first date with a celebrity.

His musical career was taking shape when he had a run-in with the law in November 2016 and had to spend time in jail.

While this slowed him down, he was unstoppable. During his time there, he released three more songs: “Win or Lose,” “Don’t Matter,” and “Too Much.” He released another “Untouchable” a week after he was released.

Youngboy released his debut album “Until Death Call My Name” on April 27th, 2018.
