Niclas Castello was born on July 21, 1978, in Neuhaus, Germany. He has created works that are often inspired by and references to fellow artists Jean-Michel Basquiat and Jeff Koons. Inspired by the fall of the Berlin wall during his childhood, he began his career as an artist focusing on street art in Germany during the late 1990s.
