Nicole Killian’s Death Is Caused By An Accident
Nicole Killian, 28, of Richmond, Vermont, was killed in a tragic accident while climbing British Columbia’s Black Tusk.
The incident was confirmed by the Sea to Sky RCMP in a press release issued on Tuesday.
Around 11:15 a.m. on Monday, authorities got a distress call reporting
that Nicole had fallen from the perilous Black Tusk Chimney, sustaining significant injuries.
Despite fast reactions from police, paramedics, and Whistler Search and Rescue, she, unfortunately, died as a result of her injuries.
Staff Sgt. Sascha Banks stressed the inherent risks of the location,
stating that Garibaldi Provincial Park and Black Tusk are popular, but hard hikes require technical skill.
