Ron Goldman was born on July 2, 1968, in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, to parents Sharon (Fohrman) Rufo and Fred Goldman.
In terms of schooling, Goldman graduated from Adlai E. Stevenson High School. In addition, he attended Illinois State University for one semester. He also attended Pierce College for a while.

Ron Goldman began his career as a job seeker and tennis coach. He also worked as a model for Barry Zeldes. He had also obtained a certificate as an Emergency Medical Technician. He chose not to follow that career, though.
Six weeks before their deaths, Goldman met Nicole Brown. On June 12, 1994, he was working as a waiter at Mezzaluna Trattoria.
After learning that Nicole’s mother, Juditha Brown, had left her sunglasses on the table by accident, he went to 875 South Bundy Drive to return the sunglasses.
He and Nicole were both stabbed to death there. Furthermore, his family believes Goldman died while attempting to save Nicole.
