“I just know what we’re doing currently isn’t nearly enough… If I have to keep watching my buddies die… This is not what America deserves.”

“We are the generation that was born after Columbine,” he explained. “We have lived with this our entire lives.”
He claimed that as early as fifth grade, he was compelled to hide in a lavatory due to a nearby gunshot.

On November 20th, 2018, the International Children’s Peace Prize was awarded to the Parkland kids who launched a statewide campaign to raise awareness about gun violence in the aftermath of a devastating school shooting.
