Sammy Guevara- Professional Career

In January 2013, Guevara made his professional wrestling debut for a significant promotion. It was a fundraiser for the National Wrestling Alliance. He later appeared on Impact Xplosion in 2017.

Guevara and Davey Richards faced Drago and Taiji Ishimori here but were defeated. Guevara went on to compete in the Super X Cup, where he was defeated in the first round by Drago.

At the Battle of Los Angeles tournament in 2017, he made his Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) debut. He was eliminated from the tournament in the quarterfinals.

He debuted for Major League Wrestling (MLW) in December 2017 and went on to make recurring appearances for MLW’s television show, MLW Fusion.

Guevara announced in February 2019 that he had signed with the newly formed All Elite Wrestling organization (AEW). He created a group called the Inner Circle, but it fell apart due to a lack of funds and other factors.

The matches were rescheduled due to the COVID-19 outbreak, but the group was still at odds. Guevara was suspended from AEW in June 2020 after making an inappropriate rape joke about WWE wrestler Sarah Banks.

The funds, which had been put on hold for a while, were soon reinstated. Matt Hardy was discovered paralyzed backstage on the September 16th episode of Dynamite.

He stated that someone had attacked him, and the attacker was revealed a month later. It was Guevara, and the match “The Elite Deletion” was announced.

The Hardy Compound in Cameron, North Carolina, was to host the event. The game was televised on November 7. Guevara was defeated once more by Hardy, bringing the feud to an end.
