Lisseth Chavez has appeared in shows such as Lucifer, Rizzoli & Isles, Night Shift, The Fosters, Station 19, and The OA, but she is best known for her role as rookie policeman Vanessa Rojas in NBC’s Chicago franchise episodes.
The franchise includes Chicago P.D., Chicago Med, and Chicago Fire.
Her involvement in the series was intended to set her up as Kevin Atwater’s future girlfriend, a role she began in season 7 but was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Season 5 of ABC’s The Rookie will premiere with the first episode, Double Down, on Sunday, September 25, at 10 p.m. ET.
It will also be available for streaming on Hulu. The series’ upcoming season teaser, which was released last month, saw Nolan dealing with serial killer Rosalind Dyer once more.
The first episode was directed by Tori Garrett and written by Alexi Hawley.
The official synopsis for the upcoming episode is as follows:
“Officer John Nolan has returned to the presence of serial murderer Rosalind, and she wants him to know she isn’t finished with him yet.”
Meanwhile, policemen Bradford and Chen work with Detective Lopez and the Las Vegas Police Department to go undercover in order to catch the leaders of a big criminal organization.”
The series stars Eric Winter, Tim Bradford, Melissa O’Neil, Alyssa Diaz, and Richard T. Jones, as well as Mekia Cox, Shawn Ashmore, Tru Valentino, Jenna Dewan, and Lisseth Chavez.
