Colombian professional racing cyclist who is best known for his association with the Team Sky racing club. Specializing in the road discipline and in climbing, he is known for having won the Overall in the Paris-Nice race in 2017 Sergio Henao was born on December 10, 1987 in Colombia. In 2005 he won two stages of the Junior Vuelta del Porvenir and finished second behind Rigoberto Urán. He first started competing in amateur and junior race events in 2005. He then went on to start his professional career in 2012. He went on to win Stage 3 at the Colta ao Algarve in 2013 and in 2017 he placed first in the National Road Race Championships.
