Ghai began her acting career in London, where she worked for companies such as Rifco, Man Mela, and Kali.

She co-starred in the American adventure series Adventure Inc. with Michael Biehn. The same year, Ghai was cast as Aishwarya Rai’s bride and best friend in Bride and Prejudice.
