He was physically active while there, participating in sports such as football and basketball, as well as running track and practicing writing.
Todd starred in a number of plays during his undergraduate years and after graduation and then had his film debut in 2002 in “Lost Soul,” followed by a role in the short film “The Dangling Conversation” in 2004.
He rose to prominence after starring as a Times reporter in the 2006 biographical crime drama film “Hollywoodland,” which follows a detective as he investigates the unexplained murder of George Reeves, star of the TV series “Adventures of Superman.” Since then, Todd has only acted in four additional films: “Dorfman in Love” in 2011, “Blind” in 2012, and “Nesting” in 2013.
