Vinny Guadagnino- Professional Career
From 2009 through 2012, Guadagnino was a regular cast member on MTV’s Jersey Shore, appearing in all six seasons. After leaving Jersey Shore, Guadagnino began taking acting training. On MTV’s scripted comedy series The Hard Times of RJ Berger, he played RJ’s cousin.
He made a brief appearance in an episode of 90210 on November 8, 2011, and then returned in the episode “O Holy Night.” Furthermore, he appeared in the Syfy original film Jersey Shore Shark Attack.
MTV also produced Guadagnino’s talk show, The Show with Vinny, which premiered in May 2013. Celebrities conversed and ate dinner with Guadagnino and his family at his home on the show.
Later, he and his mother starred in Vinny & Ma Eat America on the Cooking Channel. In 2018, he reunited with most of his original Jersey Shore castmates for the relaunch of the series, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. The first two seasons premiered in 2018, with the third season following in 2019.
Since April 2019, Guadagnino has been starring alongside Pauly D in a Double Shot at Love on MTV. On April 26, 2019, he began a month-long residency as a guest host at Chippendales at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. He was ousted in sixth place during Battle of the Super Six in 2021 as “Hammerhead” on The Masked Dancer, a spin-off of The Masked Singer.
