When Alcaraz was four years old, he began teaching him the fundamentals of the sport and then engaged Juan Carlos Ferrera, a former World No. 1, to polish his technique and prepare him for top-level competition.

How Did Carlos Alcaraz Begin His Career?

Alcaraz began playing tennis when he was four years old, inspired by watching his father play.

Rafael Nadal, a Spanish tennis legend, had been a role model for the 19-year-old athlete since he was a child.

Because his father thought it was necessary for him to have an agent, Albert Molina began working on his behalf when he was only 12 years old.

Three years later, Carlos enrolled in the JC Ferrero Sports School, which is administered by former world number one tennis player Juan Carlos Ferrero.

Alcaraz began playing tennis at the Real Sociedad Club de Campo de Murcia when he was four years old.

At the age of 15, Alcaraz turned professional and began competing in challenges and other competitions.

In 2022, the 19-year-old Spaniard made history by winning five titles, including the ATP 1000 Madrid Masters, which Alcaraz attended as a child with his father.

He won the title by defeating Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic at Madrid’s Manzanares Park Tennis Facility, commonly known as the La Caja Magica.
