Stephen rushed to her help at a recorded depth of 50 meters (164 feet), hoping to find her on the surface.

Keenan, who was protecting Alessia during the dive, sadly passed out.
Stephen was discovered floating face down and unresponsive after the event.
Despite heroic efforts to resuscitate him, the 25-year-old diver died.
