The co-host of Lone Star Politics joined KXAS in June 2013.

As NBC 5’s political correspondent, Fine has covered a wide range of topics.

In 2014, the author covered the 84th and 85th Texas Legislative Sessions, as well as the Governor’s campaign.

During his presidential campaign, Fine is believed to have followed U.S. Senator Ted Cruz from Iowa to Indiana.

Fine was hired by KXAS, NBC 5 Dallas/Fort Worth, in June 2013 after around three years at WPXI-TV.

Julie Fine’s Salary and New Job

Julie Fine was hired as Bloomberg’s Texas Bureau Chief after working as a political reporter for an NBC-owned Dallas station for eleven years.

Many of the journalist’s fans and viewers wished her luck in her new role.

Fine expressed her gratitude on Twitter. “Thank you all for your kind words today and for watching @gromerjeffers and I each week,” Julie wrote on Instagram.

The attractive TV host referred to her co-host as “the greatest partner and an even finer person.”

The departing NBC 5 political reporter signed goodbye with a pledge to meet again when she takes over as Texas Bureau Chief for Bloomberg in Dallas.

The Emmy-winning journalist’s new duties include conducting high-profile interviews, assisting colleagues, and promoting Texas bureaus.

She will reportedly feature on the political show “Balance of Power.”

In addition, the talented journalist will be able to cooperate with Joe Carroll in Houston, Brendan Walsh in Austin, and Ed Dufner in Dallas to offer information across all platforms and manage coverage throughout the region.

There has been no indication of her new salary.

However, according to Zip Recruiter, a Texas Bureau Chief gets an average annual pay of $76,557.

Julie, on the other hand, must be paid more than the norm given her position and experience in the industry.
