Interpol has arrested Johannesburg businessman Frank Buyanga. Frank Buyanga is a Zimbabwean businessman based in South Africa. Buyanga is also one of South Africa’s most recent millionaires. He says, however, that he has no clue how many businesses he owns.
In 2011, Buyanga was accused of defrauding more than 45 individuals in Zimbabwe via his company, Hamilton Property Holdings.
Buyanga participated as a judge in the Miss Zimbabwe Pageant in 2014.
On November 10, 2022, Interpol apprehended Buyanga.
Why Was Frank Buyanga, a businessman, Arrested?
Interpol apprehended Frank Buyanga, a multimillionaire gold dealer and property investor, in South Africa in response to a Zimbabwean arrest warrant.
The South African Police Services (SAPS) claimed in a statement published on Thursday that Buyanga, 42,
was seized at approximately 4 a.m. at a luxurious hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg,
as part of an Interpol-led investigation that placed the business tycoon on Red Notice.
Sadiqi is sought by Zimbabwean authorities for child trafficking, falsification,
and breaking the immigration act, said to SAPS spokesperson Colonel Athlenda Mathe.

The claims relate to an event in Zimbabwe in April 2020 in which the suspect kidnapped his family members and fled to South Africa with them.
“Zimbabwean officials promptly issued an arrest warrant, and Interpol Harare issued a red notice.”
On Thursday morning, the owner of Hamilton Property appeared in Randburg Magistrates Court
and was remanded in jail until a formal bail application was submitted on November 17, 2022.
After obtaining an arrest warrant, Zimbabwean police notified Interpol, putting him on “Red Notice”—a designation that
permits member states to hold a suspect if they arrive on their territory.
Interpol has been asked to assist the applicant and his underage kid in locating them outside of this country.
