System Crasher was submitted by Germany for Best International Feature Film at the 2020 Academy Awards, but it was not chosen for the shortlist.

‘The Unforgivable,’ Nora Fingscheidt’s upcoming Netflix drama film, is written by Peter Craig, Hillary Seitz, and Courtenay Miles, and is based on Sally Wainwright’s 2009 British miniseries Unforgiven. Sandra Bullock plays a woman who attempts to rebuild her life after serving time in prison for a violent crime.

It will be Fingscheidt’s first English-language production following her debut German-language feature System Crasher, which follows a problematic violent nine-year-old girl who endangers herself and those around her.
