“He was quite still, sitting erect with his instrument on, sporting the greatest cap and the most gorgeous rust suede jacket… “I simply want the photograph to be as lovely and respectful as it was because it appeared at first that he was just taking a minute,” Rigby said, adding, “We all lost someone important last night.”
Furthermore, Rigby revealed that at first, the audience and festival staff thought he was taking a break. After a while, the staff sprung into action and sought to revive David.
David leaves behind two children, his wife, and a shattered music community.
