A 90-year-old woman is accused of hitting two adolescent boys with her car, killing one of them.
The tragedy happened at 11:20 a.m. on Thursday (December 1) in Rembrandt Street, Carlingford, in northwest Sydney.
A 17-year-old boy was killed after being hit by an automobile while going home from school.
After paramedics attempted to help him, the kid reportedly became pinned under a van and died at the site.
His 17-year-old student was transported to Westmead Hospital, where he was in stable condition.
Doctors did, however, keep an eye on him for a brain injury sustained in the crash.
Another child saved himself by jumping out of the way of the car.
Although he was unharmed, the experience may have left him traumatized.

Police will question some crucial witnesses as well as the alleged older woman, who had a leg injury and was taken to Westmead Hospital.
She had to do a drug and alcohol blood test.
However, we must wait for the results, which NSW Police Acting Inspector Jason Hogan stated would take up to a fortnight.
After hitting the two boys, her silver Mitsubishi Lancer collided with a tree and slammed the side of the van. No charges have been filed as of yet.

One witness, a technician, told ABC that he witnessed the incident and hurried to rescue the injured lads.
He claimed that schoolchildren were walking on the path when the vehicle hit the curb, crashed into a tree, and continued toward them.
Officers and paramedics on the scene were given assistance, according to NWS Police.
Similarly, they collaborated with the boys’ school to ensure that instructors and parents received assistance.
Detective Acting Inspector Jason Hogan noted that it was upsetting for the family, school, and community.
He was upset since the boys had just completed their HSC and had the rest of their lives ahead of them.
“This time of year, it’s going to be detrimental to the family and friends,” he continued.
Mourners from Carlingford High School, including friends, relatives, and teachers, visited the crash site on Rembrandt St Friday morning, hugging and placing flowers.
Residents discussed the unfolding disaster on a local Facebook page.
They also stated that the car park entry to the shopping complex was briefly closed due to the incident.
Police have asked anyone who saw the accident to come forward.
