With the 2006 short film “Project One,” Koji made his acting debut. He has appeared in a number of films since then, including “FB: Fighting Beat,” “The Missing Day,” and “20th Century Boys 2: The Last Hope.”

“The Wrong Mans,” “Call The Midwife,” “Casualty,” “Jade Dragon,” “The Innocents,” and “American Gods” were among his significant TV appearances.

Despite his relative success, Koji was dissatisfied with his lack of high-profile jobs. All of that changed when he auditioned for and was cast in the Cinemax series “Warrior,” playing the lead character Ah Sahm.

It was announced that Koji would star in the beloved gangster period thriller “Peaky Blinders” before the season five debut. His character’s details were not divulged at the time.
