Ashley Brewer’s Professional Career
Ashley swam for the University of Texas during the first two years of her career. She later transferred to the University of Southern California, where she completed her studies and graduated in 2014.
She competed in the US Olympic trials for the 100m Backstroke in 2012 while in Texas. Brewer went on to work for Cox 7 Arizona as a college football sideline reporter after graduating from USC. She went on to work for KGUN-TV in Tucson, Arizona, as a weekend sports anchor.
She started reporting and anchoring weekend sports at KABC-TV in Los Angeles, where she had interned while attending college. After that, in 2020, she was employed by ESPN.
On September 28, 2020, she started working on SportsCenter for the first time. She was also appointed to co-host ESPN radio programs for pre-and post-game shows.
Prior to joining ESPN, she worked as a member of the “Bachelor Winter Games” broadcast team. Brewer was sent back to Los Angeles on August 17, 2021, where she now headlines the 1:00 a.m. ET episode of SportsCenter.
