Beyonce Knowles’s Endorsement Deals

While this successful Texan is well-known for her contributions to the entertainment industry, her astute business acumen distinguishes her as a force to be reckoned with. Beyonce’s first endorsement deal was with Pepsi in 2002, and she quickly signed deals with L’Oreal, American Express, Samsung, Ford, and DirectTV.

She has released a number of fragrances over the years and recently signed a three-year, $20 million deal to create a signature fragrance for Coty. Not to mention her fashion line, House of Dereon, which she co-founded with her mother, Tina.

In 2010, she launched her first solo fragrance line. She eventually created six fragrance brands with a combined revenue of more than $500 million since 2010. Her brand, when combined, is the most successful celebrity fragrance of all time.

Beyonce signed a $60 million deal with Netflix in 2018 to provide the streaming service with three pieces of content. The first, Homecoming, a documentary about her Coachella performance in 2018, was released in April 2019.

Beyonce did not, contrary to popular belief, take a 50% pay cut in order to secure the rights to film her Coachella performance. The truth is that she was paid a standard performance fee and basically told Coachella that they had no choice but to let her film for Netflix.

And when Beyonce informs Coachella that she intends to film her shows, they enthusiastically agree! That’s all there is to it.

Beyonce Knowles’s Relationship Status

Beyonce’s marriage to Shawn Carter, better known as Jay-Z, the hip hop artist, producer, and multi-millionaire entrepreneur, has arguably been her best business deal to date.

Blue Ivy Carter, the couple’s first child, was born in 2012. Beyonce gave birth to twins on June 13, 2017, a daughter named Rumi and a son named Sir.
