She underwent multiple surgeries and in June 2011 she finally decided to amputate her leg below the knee. She eventually started participating in several Paralympics sports. In 2018 she was spotted at the Paralympics Winter Games in Pyeongchang and competed at Women’s snowboard cross and Women’s Banked Slalom.

In 2019 she was seen competing at Piha 2019 World Para Snowboard Championship in Women’s Banked Slalom and Women’s snowboard cross.

Later in 2021, she was seen capturing a silver medal at World Cup while competing in the Snowboard cross. In the Beijing Paralympic Games 2022, she is carrying the hopes of thousands of people to win the gold medal for sure.
