During his time with the Texans, he quickly became a fan favorite, particularly in a game against the Tennessee Titans during the 2011 season. He did well in the game, launching a decisive tackle against punt returner Marc Mariani while wearing no helmet.
In 2012, he scored a touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts and was selected as a preferred alternate for the Pro Bowl.
Bryan signed a two-year, $3.15 million contract with the Philadelphia Eagles on March 12, 2014, after his contract with the Texans expired.
On August 23, 2017, he was traded to the New Orleans Saints. Unfortunately, an injury forced him to be placed on the injured reserve list only one month after joining the team. He was released from his contract with the Saints on September 9th, 2017.
Fortunately for Braman, his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles, called him back and he was signed on December 12th, 2017.
