He maintained his game in 2019 and 2020, but he was unable to play due to a cancellation after Covid19. In 2021, he was a member of the Triple-A West Sacramento River Cats and was promoted to the major leagues.

He made his MLB debut against the Miami Marlins, becoming the second pitcher to throw a pitch faster than 102kmph. During the same season, he was named National League Reliever of the Month. He pitched in 27 games and struck out 12.3 batters in 2021.
