Chase Claypool is a Canadian-American football player for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He was drafted in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He went to Notre Dame University and played college football there.

Chase appeared in 12 games this season, recording 5 receptions for 81 yards. He was a sophomore in 2017 and appeared in 8 of 12 games. For the team, he completed 29 passes for 402 yards and two touchdowns.
Claypool started 12 of 13 games as a junior in 2018 and finished second on the team with 50 receptions for 639 yards and four touchdowns. As a senior in 2019, he became Notre Dame’s first receiver.
In particular, he had a whopping 66 receptions for 1,037 yards and 13 touchdowns. This was his best performance in the last four years. During his college career, he completed 166 passes for 2,619 yards and 23 touchdowns.
