Douglas Wood, best known for his work on “Animaniacs,” wrote the show, which first aired on Disney from 2003 to 2007 as part of the Playhouse Disney Lineup. He worked on the picture “Ultra” the next year, followed by a run of projects beginning in 2007.

The next year, Goyo starred in the film “Resurrecting the Champ,” in which he played Teddy, the son of Josh Hartnett’s character. The sports drama film was based on the same-named article in the “Los Angeles Times Magazine,” and follows the life of a former athlete (Samuel L. Jackson) who attempts to imitate the life and career of a former professional heavyweight boxer.

The critical response to the film was overwhelmingly good. In the same year, he starred as the grandson of Susan Sarandon’s character in “Emotional Arithmetic,” a Canadian film based on Matt Cohen’s novel about three Holocaust survivors who reunite decades later.

In 2008, he added another acting project to his resume with “Super Why!” an interactive CGI show. After that, he worked on the Canadian drama series “Murdoch Mysteries,” which aired on Citytv and CBC Television and followed characters from Maureen Jennings’ “Detective Murdoch” novels.
