Despite that, it still helped her get the kick start she needed, and in 2007, she worked on the independent film entitled “Schooled”, which follows the narrative of a teacher who becomes involved in an alternative school in California, leading to changes in his personal philosophy.
A year later, Argota earned her first Nickelodeon role in “True Jackson, VP” as one of the best friends of the titular character played by Keke Palmer.
