Dave Dombrowski is the president of baseball operations for the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was the youngest player in the Major League at the time, being only 31 years old.
Dombrowsky left the Expos to become the first general manager of the Florida Marlins in 1991.
He was with the team for over a decade before leaving to become President of the Detroit Tigers.
In 14 years, he led the Tigers to five playoff appearances and four consecutive American League Central division titles.
Under his watch, the team appeared in four American League Championship Series, three straight ALCS appearances, and two AL pennants.
Dave was the president of baseball operations for the Boston Red Sox after leaving the Detroit Tigers.
In his first season, the Red Sox won 93 regular-season games and won the American League East Division.
Despite the fact that he had a very successful career, Dave only won one World Series, which he did in 1997.

The couple first met in 1992, when Karie was working as a reporter for WTVJ in Miami and Dave was the general manager of the Florida Marlins.
