They did, however, tell WGAL that raising a youngster with such an outstanding brain was difficult.
Ronya, David’s mother,
stated that his brain could understand and comprehend numerous
complicated topics that were sometimes above her comprehension.
She also stated that David was gifted tested in first grade and skipped numerous grades in elementary school.
David’s father told the reporters that they are looking for a university for David but would most likely stay in Pennsylvania.
He also discussed the difficulties David would have when attending college among grownups who may misinterpret him.

Michael Kearney is the only one who graduated from high school before David.
Kearney, 39, holds the Guinness World Record for the youngest high school graduate,
having graduated when he was six years old in 1990.
