They traded Bledsoe to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for Greg Monroe on November 7, 2017. 

The first and second-round draft picks were then protected. He made his Bucks debut three days later.

Later, on his return to Phoenix on November 22, Bledsoe defeated the Suns. 

He scored 39 points in a 124-122 overtime triumph over the Los Angeles Lakers on March 30, 2018.

On April 9, 2018, he had his fourth career triple-double with 20 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists in a 102-86 win over the Orlando Magic.

On January 19, 2019, Bledsoe scored 30 points in a 118-108 victory over the Magic. 

On February 27, Eric had 26 points, 13 assists, and 12 rebounds in a 141-140 overtime win over the Sacramento Kings. 

On March 1, he scored 31 points in a 131-120 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers roster.

He inked a four-year, $70 million contract deal with the Bucks on March 4.

At the end of the season, he was named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team.
