Francesca was raised in Rosario by her parents – her mother was a housewife while her father was a factory worker. She attended a high school in Rosario, and after matriculation didn’t enroll at college, but rather began working as a waitress in a bar close to her home.

The couple first lived in James’ house in California which has four bedrooms and three bathrooms as well as a timber outdoor kitchen and a saltwater pool.

In May 2013, James sold the house for over $3.4 million as it was too big for the family, and he purchased a home in Vail in Colorado for $922,000 where the family is currently living.

James stated in an interview how Francesca has helped him through the hardest period of his life, how he had anger management problems before he met her – on one occasion, she told him she and their children were not going to stay with him unless he pulled himself together.
