Gladys was regarded as a down-to-earth person who enjoyed life and had high hopes for the future by people who knew her.
She was also quite philanthropic and enjoyed assisting those in need.
Gladys was treasured by her family and well-liked by her neighbors.

Augustin Garcia submitted a not-guilty plea after being introduced in court,
claiming that Gladys’ wedding ceremony had driven him nuts.
