Gregg Giuffria was born on July 28, 1951, in Mississippi. His House of Lords band’s eponymous debut album was released on Kiss bassist Gene Simmons‘ music label. His first two albums with Angel – Angel and Helluva Band- were released in 1975 and 1976, respectively. He recorded four more albums with Angel before the group disbanded in the early 1980s.
