Stephan Bonnar was an American professional wrestler and MMA fighter who grew up in Munster, Indiana.  Stephan Bonnar earned his black belt in Tae Kwon Do at the age of 16 and twice won the Super Heavyweight Golden Gloves Championship. Bonnar earned a degree in sports medicine from Purdue University in 2000.

While competing in the UFC as a Light Heavyweight, Bonnar was sometimes viewed as an underdog, as evidenced by his fight with Anderson Silva at UFC 153.

His most notable fight, though, was the TUF Ultimate Finale against Forrest Griffin, which is regarded as one of the most important MMA fights in history.

The UFC announced the news on its Twitter page on December 24, along with an homage to the fighter written by UFC President Dana White, who called Stephan Bonnar “one of the greatest fighters to ever compete in the Octagon.”

Legal Concerns Stephan Bonnar was present

On October 28, 2018, the Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) received many reports of a red Cadillac driving erratically and making unsafe lane changes by Bonnar.

When they got on the site, they noticed Bonnar’s hands were tied to the inside car handles, apparently in an attempt to flee the scene of the accident.

This interaction was captured on the officer’s body camera and shown on Season 4 of PD Cam.

Officers also detected the odor of alcohol on Bonnar’s breath and in his automobile.

He was apprehended immediately and sent to the Clark County Detention Center, where he was charged with DUI and resisting arrest.
