Sophie Waite and Chris Moyles met for the first time in 2002.

However, after an eight-year relationship, the pair divorced in 2010.

The 49-year-old Radio 1 DJ called his quits on his eight-year relationship with Sophie Waite, saying he wasn’t ready to marry.

Miss Waite, a BBC TV producer, was believed to be distraught when the couple divorced and left their £1.8 million property in Highgate, North London.

She was said to be staying with friends at the time.

Despite regularly expressing his emotions for Miss Waite, Moyles has declared his desire to remain unmarried.

He earlier stated that marrying and having children would be “very selfish” of him.
