Rowley began his professional acting career in 1999, with a small role in an episode of the WB’s fantasy drama series “Charmed,” and his debut feature film appearance came the following year when he played William Morris’s receptionist in the teenage musical comedy film “Coyote Ugly,” directed by David McNally and based on Coyote Ugly Saloon; the film eventually became a cult classic.
