Many other channels opted to follow him and his brother’s lead as reactors after their popularity. By late 2015, YouTube had thousands of reaction channels. The site’s original creators became aware of the pattern soon after. The reaction was swift. There was much outrage.
Among the YouTube personalities that came out against him and his ilk were Pewdiepie, Doctor Ian Mantis Toboggan, I Hate Everything, DramaAlert, GradeAUnderA, LeafyIsHere, and JacksFilms. They believed that by reacting to them, they were detracting from the video’s creative value.
He sought to defend himself in a video titled “Message to YouTubers” in response to the widespread criticism, but it only served to escalate the problem.

He was accused of illegal sampling after releasing music videos for three tracks from his EP ‘The Rap of All Trades,’ in which he exploited the copyrighted material of another person in his music without giving the original author full credit.

At the height of his fame, each of his uploads received millions of views. He established heReloaded, his second YouTube channel dedicated to vlogging and movie reviews, on June 4, 2015.
