On September 19, 2018, US Senator Kamala Harris received a letter signed by Jane Doe.
In addition, Judy stated in her letter that Kavanaugh and a friend assaulted her numerous times in the backseat of a car.
Yet she didn’t say when or where the incident occurred. Eventually, Harris sent Jane’s letter to the Committee investigators.
Furthermore, the Committee conducted an investigation into Kavanaugh and read the letter to him.
Brett dismissed all of the charges, calling them all ludicrous.
Furthermore, the Committee freely distributed a copy of the interview as well as the entire Jane Doe letter.
Munro-Leighton later emailed the Committee staff on October 3, 2018.
She said in the email that Jane Doe from Oceanside, California — Kavanaugh raped her. She also claimed to be the writer of the letter sent to Kamala Harris.
Judy has previously stated that she is terrified of US President Donald Trump.
She did not want Trump to use her name at any of his rallies.
As a result, she was terrified of disclosing her true identity.
On November 1, 2018, investigators were able to locate Munro-Leighton and speak with her over the phone.
She wasn’t from California, but rather from Kentucky.
Judy stated that Brett Kavanaugh never sexually abused her.
She has also stated that she did not write the initial “Jane Doe” letter.
