On March 15, 2023, police arrested Kacy Banks of Philadelphia in connection with Tarik Greene’s murder. On February 22, Greene was shot and murdered. Tarik Greene, 28, was shot and died as he exited a Black Horse Pike motel early on February 22, 2023. Kacy allegedly shot Tarik as he exited the hotel room, according to a court record expressing the conceivable cause for charges against a suspect.

Furthermore, the gunshot victim was persuaded to die before dawn.

The incident has received a lot of media attention.

Tarik Greene’s Death: How Did She Pass Away?

As previously stated, security footage showed Kacy Banks shooting Tarik Greene.

Tarik checked out of the Howard Johnson Inn motel room.

Shortly after the victim left the motel room, a woman emerged from the same room and drove away in a car driven by Kacy Banks.

When police officers questioned her, she stated that she and Kacy Banks invited guys to the hotel to have sex with her and rob them.

She also revealed that Kacy Banks and Tarik Greene competed for the room.

Banks allegedly leaped from a second-floor balcony, according to the woman.

Kacy Banks allegedly then waited for Greene to exit the room before firing a single round at him.

Many details remain unknown as the inquiry continues.

Kacy Banks has been arrested for the murder of Tarik Greene.

Tarik Greene’s murder suspect has been named Kacy Banks, 26.

According to the probable cause statement, Kacy Banks shot Greene as the victim was leaving a room at the Howard Johnson Inn at 2:20 a.m.

Banks was apparently hiding behind a wall in a stairway on the second floor.

Banks was identified as the individual who reserved the hotel room, according to the investigation.

Police arrived at an emergency call at three a.m. and found Greene.

Tarik was certified dead at a local hospital at 4:45 a.m., according to the prosecutor’s office.

Greene was a Millville resident, according to his family’s obituary.

He was born in Willingboro, New Jersey. Banks face robbery, criminal homicide, and a weapons charge.

It is unknown if the late victim of the early-morning shooting was married.

The obituary didn’t say much about his family members, other than that they were heartbroken and struggled to say goodbye to their loved one.

Banks were not found guilty. As a result, the charges are merely allegations.

Kacy Banks was arrested in Philadelphia and is currently incarcerated. His extradition to New Jersey is in the works.
