Kate Flannery is an American actress who is best known for playing Meredith Palmer in the TV comedy series “The Office” from 2005 to 2013, as well as being one half of the comic duo “The Lampshades” with Scot Robinson, with whom she toured the United States.

Kate Flannery was born on June 10th, 1964, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Thomas A. Flannery and Joan Donnelly. Kate, who is of Irish descent, has six siblings, including a twin sister who is three minutes her senior.

She attended Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania, and then Shenandoah University for two years before graduating from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

Kate Flannery joined The Second City’s National Touring Company and Chicago’s Annoyance Theater before making her cinematic debut, appearing in shows such as “The Miss Vagina Pageant” and “The Real Live Brady Bunch.”
