He attended Huntington Beach High School, where he participated in performing before enrolling in the Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts as a Musical Theatre major.
He won the National High School Musical Theatre Award at the age of 17 for his remarkable acting skills in the part of Don Lockwood in the musical Singin’ in the Rain.

In June 2010, Kyle Selig was 17 years old when he won the National High School Musical Theatre Award (commonly known as the “Jimmy Award”) and a $10,000 scholarship.
Kyle participated in Covenant House’s Stage & Screen Sleep Out in August 2018 with Mean Girls co-stars Ashley Park and Curtis Holland.
Kyle appeared as Travis in the thriller political drama television series Madam Secretary in 2019.
In December 2019, he was cast as Process Server in an episode titled Exorcism Part 2 of the supernatural drama television series Evil.
He has also served as a mentor and taught master courses to budding musicians.
Kyle’s debut album, Careful Days, was published in 2021.
