Lucy Croghan Obituary And Death
The death of Lucy Croghan was reported with tremendous sadness.
The four-year-old daughter died peacefully on June 26th, 2023.
After exhibiting incredible strength and dignity throughout her lengthy battle with illness,
she sought peace in the loving embrace of her mother Zara.
Lucy was originally from An Choirrsceach, Frenchpark, Co. Roscommon.
Warrior Princess, as she was affectionately known, will be dearly remembered and greatly missed.
The Funeral Mass, known as the “Mass of the Angels,” is scheduled for Thursday at 12 noon at St. Asicus’ Church in Frenchpark.
Her infant sister Lisa and her lately deceased grandmother Zaneta (Dee) died before her.
Lucy will be laid to rest at home beginning at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, with visitation lasting all day Wednesday.
The Funeral Mass, “Mass of the Angels,” will be held at St. Asicus’ Church in Frenchpark on Thursday at 12 pm, followed by her burial in Cloonshanville Cemetery.
Thursday morning is set aside for family privacy.

During her death, Lucy was surrounded by everyone who cared about her, making her exit pleasant.
Similarly, Dowd stated that Lucy’s extraordinary spirit motivated and inspired the entire neighborhood.
The Fairmount, Tibohine, Frenchpark, and Ballinagare Churches’ Facebook page said that Lucy has joined “the Angels of God in Heaven.”
They prayed for the little girl who had joined the Angels of God in Heaven and remembered her bereaved family.
“May she find eternal peace cradled in God’s loving arms,” said the touching remark.
