Neal Casal was a Denville, New Jersey-born American singer, musician, photographer, songwriter, and guitarist. Neal Casal rose to prominence as the lead guitarist for the band “Blackfoot” from 1988 to 1993.

Neal remained a member of Ryan Adams’ backing band “the Cardinals” as an artist.

From 2005 to 2009, he was a member of the band and played guitar, piano, and drums.

Neal died on August 26, 2019, at the age of 50. According to a source, the singer died after attempting suicide. However, the authorities have not yet released the reason for his suicide on the internet.
