American journalist and reporter who is best recognized for his work with The New Yorker as a Staff Writer. He is known for covering both politics and policy and has also been published in Harper’s Bazaar, the Chicago Reader, and In These Times. Osita Nwanevu was born on November 1, 1993, in the United States. He interviewed author Ta-Nehisi Coates about his book Between the World and Me. He attended the University of Chicago where he earned his BA in Public Policy in 2011. He then went on to earn his Master’s in Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy.
