Rita Lee Marido is a Brazilian rock singer, songwriter, and composer. Rita Lee Marido was a well-known Brazilian entertainer and member of the band Os Mutantes. Rita Lee’s Childhood Memories
Rita Lee was born in So Paulo, Brazil, to Brazilian pianist Romilda Padula and American-Brazilian dentist Charles Fenley Jones, who was descended from Confederate soldiers.
Rita was taught classical piano by Magdalena Tagliaferro, a well-known musician.
Instead of the traditional adolescent debut ball, she requested a drum kit.
Lee obtained her education in a French-speaking institution and became fluent in Spanish, French, and Italian, in addition to her mother tongue of Portuguese and the English her parents spoke at home.
