When Rose, who played the first Batwoman Kate Kane, left the show in May 2020, it was hinted that she and the show had voluntarily decided to end their partnership.

Rose, on the other hand, said in a series of Instagram stories released Wednesday morning that this was not the case.

Rose claimed in one of the messages, “I did not quit,” and EW had the opportunity to analyze it before it was removed.”

They annihilated Batwoman, not me, and they annihilated Kate Kane.

Scandal and Discontent Concerning the Ruby Rose Scandal

Rose resigned from the role of Batwoman on May 19, 2020, after the first season, with no explanation.

Rose later claimed that she was harmed during the production of the first season.

She characterized being the series’ star as “taxing” in August 2020 and claimed her decision to leave was driven in part by the back surgery she had as a result of the accident.

Later that month, English actress Wallis Day was cast as Kate Kane because the narrative of the show involved Kate receiving surgery to alter her face after being injured in an airplane crash.

Rose’s sensitivity to latex, which was used in her character’s mask, was another factor in her decision to depart Batwoman in July 2021.

In October, she began circulating charges of an unpleasant and unsafe work environment on the Batwoman set, blaming Warner Bros.

Executive producer Peter Roth, co-star Dougray Scott and Camrus Johnson, and other members of the production team.

In reaction to the allegations, Warner Bros claimed that “Warner Bros Television had decided not to exercise its option to engage Ruby for season two” due to “multiple complaints about her workplace behavior.”

Rose had been dismissed from Batwoman, rather than quitting, as she had previously claimed.
