Hewitt joined Breed on a German tour when he was 17 years old.
Following the tour’s conclusion, Hewitt joined The Boo Radleys temporarily and appeared on the band’s debut album, Ichabod and I, released in 1990.
Hewitt rejoined Breed in 1991 and appeared on the albums Grin and Violet Sentimental.
